[ENGRAMA] is a live Indie band in Second Life and Real Life. They play all the instruments at real time, without using any backing pre recorded  track; live drums, guitar & vocals.

Engrama slowly melts into the world with their moody and atmospheric soundscapes. Drawing from influences like Mogwai, Sigur Ros, and the tamer side of Sonic Youth, their compositions slowly tumble and roll into a cerebral playground, full of shadows and flickers ofcolor so subtle they appear as if in the corner of the eye

[Engrama] is comprised of Pupito Helstein (Argentina) and Lakua Arriaga (Spain). Their music consists of songs of their own creation, live musical experimentation, as well as covers from indie groups such as Joy Division, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, The Cure, etc...

In real life, Pupito Helstein played in some bands on the independent music scene in Buenos Aires.  [Engrama], however,  is born of both members living together and sharing a common interest in musical experimentation and other artistic aspects such as the musicalization of images which coincides with Lakua's real life interest in photography.

What [Engrama] offers to Second Life  is live music without pre-recorded tracks; a dreamlike musical soundscape which transcends from SL into RL.
